Cookeville Community Folk Orchestra

Kat Starr founded and directs the Cookeville Community Folk Orchestra.

The CCFO is a teaching orchestra dedicated to the performance of folk music.  The CCFO rehearses weekly, plays several concerts per year.

The ensemble consists of violins, violas, cellos, string bass, mandolins, guitars, ukuleles, woodwinds and brass instruments, as well as traditional percussion.  Acoustic instruments are welcome!   It is open to the community and folks of all ages, experience levels and backgrounds are encouraged to participate.

This is the place for 'closet musicians' to join others, hone their talent and share their music.
